2015 Buccaneers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won only 4 games and came in last place in the NFC South last season.  The Buccaneers will hope that they can play better and win more games in 2012. The offense struggled in 2011, ranking 16th in passing yards per game and 30th in rushing yards per game.  Josh Freeman (QB) is a solid young quarterback, and he can lead this offense if he can stay healthy.  Freeman had 3,592 yards passing and 16 touchdowns last season.  His top target will be Mike Williams (WR).  Williams had 65 receptions for 771 yards in 2011. The Buccaneers will need better production from the run game.  LaGarrette Blount (RB) should be the starter for 2012.  The defense also struggled in 2011, ranking 21st against the pass and 32nd against the run. The veteran Ronde Barber (CB) will lead this defense after having 79 tackles and 3 interceptions in 2011.  The team also drafted Mark Barron (S) with the 7th overall pick in the NFL draft.  Barron has 61 tackles and 2 interceptions for Alabama last season, and the Buccaneers hope that he can help their defense this year. The Buccaneers should be able to win some games this year.  They have a good young quarterback, and some good young running backs that will allow them to score points.
