Southern Utah Thunderbirds

The Thunderbirds are the athletic teams that represent Southern Utah University. They are NCAA Division 1 members and as of July 1, 2012, compete in the Big Sky Conference. The men field varsity teams in six sports that include baseball, basketball, cross-country, football, golf, and track & field. The women field varsity teams in nine sports which include basketball, cross-country, golf, gymnastics, soccer, softball, tennis, track & field, and volleyball. 
Fans can attend Thunderbird sporting events at some of the finest facilities associated with the Summit League and Big Sky Conference. These facilities include the Centum Arena, Kathryn Berg Field, Thunderbird Park, and Eccles Coliseum. The Thunderbirds eye-catching colors are red, white, and black.
