Houston Cougars

The Houston Cougars are the athletic teams for the University of Houston, which is located in the state of Texas.  The Cougars are members of the NCAA Division 1 and participate in Conference USA. The men and women field varsity teams in a variety of sports. The men compete in baseball, basketball, football, golf, cross-country, and track & field. The women compete in basketball, soccer, softball, tennis, volleyball, cross-country, track & field, and swimming and diving.
Facilities at the University of Houston include John O'Quinn Field at Robertson Stadium, Hofheinz Pavilion, Cougar Field, and Cougar Softball Field. Ever present are the school's colors of scarlet and albino at the Houston Cougars athletic events along with the mascot, Shasta.
