Arrowhead Stadium is located in Kansas City, Missouri and is the home of the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League. The stadium opened August 12, 1972, and is the fifth oldest stadium in use as of today. Arrowhead is the 27^th largest stadium in North America and the fourth largest NFL stadium by seating capacity. The stadium holds 76,416 fans and the playing field is natural grass.

In October of 2007, renovations began at Arrowhead and consisted of a new LED scoreboard and a horizontal viewing area. The stadium was awarded the 49^th Super Bowl in 2015 provided it had a climate-controlled stadium, a proposal for a rolling roof was shot down by voters and the stadium withdrew its bid for Super Bowl XLIX in 2015. In 2009, the stadium completed the installation of a multi-million dollar integrated system from Daktronics. Approximately 1.625 feet of video ribbon was installed as well as two high-definition video displays that were retro fitted into the football shaped scoreboards in each end zone.

The stadium has been host to many college games. Between 2007 and 2011, the Border Showdown between the Kansas Jayhawks and the Missouri Tigers was held at Arrowhead. The 2007 game drew the second largest crowd since the opening of the stadium in 1972 with 80,537 college football fans attending. Kenny Chesney, Taylor Swift, Eli Young Band, and the Zac Brown band have all held concerts at the stadium. Kenny Chesney will be returning to Arrowhead with Eric Church on June 15, 2013.
