Yale Bulldogs

First chartered in 1701, Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut is home to the athletic teams the Yale Bulldogs. The Bulldogs have varsity teams in over 30 sports. Yale is a member of the NCAA Division 1 and competes in the Ivy League Conference, ECAC Hockey, the Eastern Association of Rowing Colleges, and the Eastern Association of Women's Rowing Colleges.  The men's varsity teams are in baseball, basketball, heavyweight and lightweight crew, cross-country, fencing, football, golf, ice hockey, lacrosse, soccer, squash, swimming & diving, tennis, and track & field. The women's varsity teams are in basketball, crew, cross-country, fencing, field hockey, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, sailing, soccer, softball, squash, swimming & diving, tennis, track & field, and volleyball. The Yale Bulldogs also compete in coed sailing.
With an expensive sporting program, Yale University has numerous facilities where you can see the Bulldogs in action. Some of the athletic facilities include Brady Squash Center, Cuyler Field, and Dwyer Track, Ingalls Rink "The Whale," Reese Stadium, Payne Whitney Gym, Yale Field, and Yale Bowl. Handsome Dan, the Bulldog, is the official mascot for the school that shows its pride in the wearing of Yale blue and white.
