2012 Jets

The Winnipeg Jets finished the season with a record of 37-35-10.  The team hopes that they can work on improving in the offseason and win more games next year. The Jets have some excellent young talent that they will rely on again next season.  Evander Kane (LW) led the team in goals with 30 on the year. He also had 27 assists. At only 20 years old, Kane has a ton of potential, and the Jets hope that he will keep improving every season. Blake Wheeler (RW) is another young player that led the team this season. Wheeler had a team high 47 assists and also scored 17 goals in his 3rd season in the NHL. Ondrej Pavalec (G) is only 24 years old, but he had a save percentage of .906 and averaged 2.91 goals against this season. He will continue to learn from the veteran Chris Mason (G).  But, expect him to keep playing well next year as he gains more experience. The Winnipeg Jets are an extremely young team with a lot of potential.  If they keep improving next season, then the Jets will be able to surprise teams and have a chance to make the playoffs.
