Virginia Tech finished in ninth place in the ACC, with a 4-12 record in the conference. Highlights of the 2011-12 campaign included a 59-57 victory over Oklahoma State on November 25, a six-game winning streak in December (including another win against Oklahoma State) and an upset of then #17 Virginia.Among the key returning players for the Hokies are 6-3 senior Erick Green, 6-7 junior Jarell Eddie, 6-9 junior Cadarian Raines, 6-8 sophomore C.J. Barksdale, 6-8 sophomore Dorian Finney-Smith and 6-5 sophomore Robert Brown. Virginia Tech has some quality recruits joining the team this coming season, including 6-7 Montrezl Harrell and 6-8 Marshall Wood.
