2012-2013 UNC 49ers Basketball

The Duke Blue Devils of the ACC finished the 2011-12 season with a 27-7 record, completing the year with a shocking loss to Lehigh in the NCAA Tournament. Duke ended the season in second place in the ACC, posting a 13-3 record in the conference. Highlights of the 2011-12 campaign The Charlotte 49ers of the Atlantic 10 finished the 2011-12 season with a 13-17 record, capped off with an 80-64 defeat at Saint Joseph's. Charlotte finished the season in eighth place in the Atlantic 10, with a 9-7 conference record. Highlights of the 2011-12 campaign included a double-overtime win at Central Michigan, a five-game winning streak that included victories over Wright State, East Carolina, Radford, Davidson and Coppin State, and a January 7 win over Saint Joseph's.
Among the key returning players for the 49ers are 6-9 senior Chris Braswell, 6-3 sophomore Pierria Henry and 6-5 junior DeMario Mayfield.
Charlotte has some quality recruits joining the team this coming season, including 6-2 Shawn Lester, 6-8 Willie Clayton and 6-7 Darion Clark.
