The Police

The Police are a three-piece rock band consisting of singer/bassist Sting, guitarist Andy Summers, and drummer Stewart Copeland. The Police became popular in the early 1980s, playing a style of rock that was influenced by reggae and punk music. The band's Synchronicity album from 1983 was number one in the UK and the US, and went Platinum eight times in the US. The group broke up in the mid-1980s but are now bck for a world tour!
