Texas Longhorns

The Longhorns represent the intercollegiate sports teams for the University of Texas at Austin. The Longhorns have a long history of winning team and individual championships in a variety of sports including baseball, football, swimming & diving for men and women.  The 20 varsity intercollegiate teams of the Longhorns are members of the NCAA Division 1 and compete in the Big 12 Conference.  The men field teams in baseball, basketball, football, golf, swimming & diving, tennis, Texas Relays, track & field and cross-country. The women field teams in basketball, golf, rowing, soccer, softball, swimming & diving, tennis, Texas Relays, track & field, cross-country, and volleyball.

Fans can see the Championship Texas Longhorns competing at home facilities including Frank C. Erwin, Jr. Special Events Center, UFCU Dish-Falk Field, Red & Charline McCombs Field, Gregory Gymnasium, and the Darrel K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium at Joe Jamail Field. The “Hook’em” and “Air Horn” are the two costumed mascots that keep the fans fired up when in attendance at Longhorn sporting events. The official University of Texas at Austin colors are the well-known burnt orange and white.
