Texas finished in sixth place in the Big 12, with a 9-9 conference record. Highlights of the 2011-12 campaign included a seven-game winning streak in November-December, and wins over Boston University, UCLA, Temple, and two victories against Texas A&M.Among the key returning players for the Longhorns are 6-4 sophomore Sheldon McClellan, 6-7 sophomore Jonathan Holmes, 6-1 sophomore Myck Kabongo, 6-7 sophomore Jaylen Bond, 6-3 sophomore Julien Lewis and 6-1 sophomore Sterling Gibbs. Texas has some quality recruits joining the team this coming season, including 6-7 Devonta Pollard, 6-10 Cameron Ridley, 6-10 Prince Ibeh, 5-11 Javan Felix, 6-7 Ioannis Papapetrou and 6-9 Connor Lammert.
