Temple Owls

The intercollegiate men and women’s varsity athletic teams that represent Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania are the Temple Owls. The Owls are members of the NCAA Division 1 and compete in the Big East Conference, and the Atlantic 10 Conference. The 10 sports the men field teams in are baseball, basketball, crew, cross-country, football, golf, gymnastics, soccer, tennis, and track & field. The 12 sports the women field teams in are basketball, rowing, cross-country, fencing, field hockey, gymnastics, lacrosse, soccer, softball, tennis, track & field, and volleyball.

Hooter the Owl is the Temple University mascot and is always ready to pump up the crowds at Owls sporting events. The colors of the Owls are cherry, black, and white. See the Temple Owls in action by attending sporting events at away games or local Temple facilities like the Liacouras Center, Geasey Field, McGonigle Hall, Skip Wilson Field, Ambler Field, and Lincoln Financial Field.
