2013 Sacramento Kings

The Sacramento Kings finished last season with a record of 22-44, and finished second-to-last in the Western Conference. The Kings hope that they can add some pieces to the team in the offseason so that they can be more competitive next year. The Kings scored a lot of points this season, ranking 6th in the NBA in points scored. However, the Kings ranked last in points allowed, averaging 104.4 points allowed per game. They know that they need to play better defense, and they will work on that all offseason. With a solid group of young players on the team, the Kings will keep improving every season.In his second season in the NBA, Marcus Thornton (G) led the team in scoring, averaging 18.7 points per game. Evans is only 24 years old, and the young guard will be fun to watch for years to come. The Kings also have a great young post player in DeMarcus Cousins (PF). Cousins averaged 18.1 points, 11 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game this season. Look for Cousins to become one of the top big men in the NBA in the near future. The Sacramento Kings have some excellent young players on the team, and if they can keep improving, then the team will win more games. Look for the Kings to play much better next season.
