Oklahoma State finished in seventh place in the Big 12, with a 7-11 record in the conference. Highlights of the 2011-12 campaign included a win over in-state rival Oklahoma, two victories against Texas Tech, and a huge upset win over then #2 Missouri on January 25.Among the key returning players for the Cowboys are 6-5 sophomore Brian Williams, 6-8 sophomore Michael Cobbins, 6-3 junior Markel Brown, 6-8 senior Darrell Williams (transfer), 6-11 senior Philip Jurick, 6-5 senior Jean-Paul Olukemi and 6-0 sophomore Cezar Guerrero. Oklahoma State has some quality recruits joining the team this coming season, including 6-4 Marcus Smart, 6-8 Kamari Murphy and 5-11 Phil Forte.
