Northern Colorado Bears

The Northern Colorado Bears is the name for the men and women's intercollegiate varsity sports teams at the University of Northern Colorado. The Bears are members of the NCAA Division 1 and compete in the Big Sky Conference, the Pacific Coast Softball Conference, the Western Wrestling Conference, and the Western Athletic Conference (swimming & diving). The men field varsity teams in baseball, basketball, cross-country, football, golf, tennis, track & field, and wrestling. The women field varsity teams in basketball, cross-country, golf, soccer, softball, swimming & diving, tennis, track & field, and volleyball.
The navy blue and gold are the University of Northern Colorado's official school colors. The official mascot for the Northern Colorado Bears is Klawz who is seen frequently at athletic and other events for the school.
