North Dakota Fighting Hawks

The University of North Dakota was founded in 1883 and its athletic teams are the North Dakota Fighting Sioux. NCAA Division 1 members, the Fighting Sioux compete in the Big Sky Conference, the Great West Conference, and the Western Collegiate Hockey Association. The men field teams in baseball, basketball, cross-country, football, golf, hockey, swimming & diving, and track & field. The women field teams in basketball, cross-country, golf, hockey, soccer, softball, swimming & diving, tennis, track & field, and volleyball.
The North Dakota Fighting Sioux University and athletic team colors are Kelly green, white, and black. UND athletic events are played at home venues like Apollo Sports Complex, Betty Engelstad Sioux Center, Kraft Memorial Field, Ralph Engelstad Arena, and Alerus Center.
