North Carolina finished the season in first place in the ACC, with a 14-2 conference record. Highlights of the 2011-12 campaign included victories against Michigan State, then #7 Wisconsin, then #20 Virginia and then #3 Duke.Among the key returning players for the Tar Heels are 6-7 junior Reggie Bullock, 6-4 senior Leslie McDonald (transfer), 6-9 sophomore James Michael McAdoo, 6-6 sophomore P.J. Hairston and 6-3 senior Dexter Strickland. North Carolina has some quality recruits joining the team this coming season, including 6-0 Marcus Paige, 6-9 Brice Johnson, 6-10 Joel James and 6-6 J.P.
