New Mexico finished first in the Mountain West last season, with a 10-4 conference record. Highlights of the 2011-12 campaign included a pair of wins over San Diego State (ranked #15 and #21, respectively), a pair of victories against UNLV (ranked #11 and #20, respectively) and an NCAA Tournament win over Long Beach State.Among the key returning players for the Lobos are 6-3 junior Kendall Williams, 6-3 sophomore Hugh Greenwood, 6-7 junior Tony Snell, 5-9 senior Jamal Fenton, 6-2 junior Demetrius Walker, 6-6 senior Chad Adams and 6-9 junior Cameron Bairstow. New Mexico has some quality recruits joining the team this coming season, including 7-1 Cheir Ajou, 6-8 Devon Williams, 6-8 Nick Banyard and 7-0 Obij Aget.
