Missouri has some momentum coming into this season as they won the last four games of the season. Quarterback James Franklin emerged as a star. He was responsible for 295 yards a game and 36 touchdowns. Running back Henry Josey gained 1168 yards but suffered a knee injury and his return in 2012 is not a sure thing. Backup Kendi Lawrence gained 566 yards and has the ability to carry the load. Leading receiver TJ Moe returns after catching 54 passes in 2011. The Tigers lose 3 starters on the offensive line. The defense returns linebacker Andrew Wilson he had 9.5 tackles for loss.Missouri is about to find out the difference between the Big 12 and the SEC. Missouri will have some offensive punch with Franklin and Lawrence. Getting Josey back will help immensely. The defense is the key for Missouri in 2012. If the Tigers can improve defensively their first season in the SEC can be successful. If not a middle of the pack finish and seven wins will be the verdict. |

Moe, wide receiver Marcus Lucas, defensive lineman Brad Madison, linebacker Andrew Wilson, linebacker Will Ebner, defensive back E.J. Gaines and defensive back Kip Edwards.
Missouri has several quality recruits joining the team this coming season, including wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham (Missouri), offensive guard Evan Boehm (Missouri), quarterback Maty Mauk (Ohio), linebacker Donavin Newsom (Missouri) and linebacker Torey Boozer (Texas).
