The Timberwolves have some talent, and they hope they can advance to the playoffs next season. The Timberwolves could score points this season, and they averaged 97.9 points per game. However, their defense was horrid, allowing an average of 100.1 points per game. They will need to improve their defense this offseason if they want to win more games. Kevin Love (PF) led the team in points this season, averaging 26 points per game. Love has a ton of talent, and the team is built around him. He also led the team in rebounds, averaging 13.3 rebounds per game. Ricky Rubio (PG) is a great young guard that really knows how to pass and run the offense. Rubio averaged a team high 8.2 assists and 2.2 steals per game. While Rubio is only 21 years old, he has a lot of potential, and could be one of the NBA's top point guards in the near future. Overall, the Minnesota Timberwolves have a lot of young talent on the team. If they can add a couple more pieces, then they will likely be fighting for a playoff spot next season. |
