Megan Bellwoar

An accomplished actress, director and a full-time instructor, Megan Bellwoar tied the knot with playwright Michael Hollinger. The Bellwoars currently lives in Elkins Park. Ironically, she never comes into view on her husband's plays untill now.
Bellwoar will play the lead role of Myra Babbage on her husband's much-touted and much-awaited "Ghost-Writer," which will be unveiled at the Arden Theater Company's Arcadia Stage on September 9 to November 7.
In the story, "Ghost-Writer," writer Franklin Woolsey passed away paving the way for his secretary to pick up where he left off. Myra was attacked relentlessly by the doubting thomases, the journalists and her boss' bereaved widow. Myra puts on a fantastic performance by proving that she is not a falsifier but rather a master of whipping up tricks and deceptions. A West Chester native, Bellwoar performed various theater works while she was in high school. In 1986 she finished her college in DeSales University with a major in theater. She meets her future spouse while pursuing her graduate studies at Villanova University. Through the years, Bellwoar is seen in various theaters productions with in such remarkable plays, as Arden, Act II Playhouse, the Walnut Street Theatre, People's Light and the list goes on.
