Maroon 5
Maroon 5 is a rock band from Los Angeles, California, and has won several awards for their debut album Songs About Jane. Released in June 2002, the album enjoyed major chart success, going gold, platinum, and triple platinum in many countries around the world. September 20, 2005, Maroon 5 released a live record called Live - Friday The 13th which was recorded on May 13, 2005 in Santa Barbara, California. The band has been constantly touring since the release, which along with many accolades, caused the departure of original drummer Ryan Dusick in September 2006 due to injuries.
