LSU finished in eighth place in the SEC, with a 7-9 record in the conference. Highlights of the 2011-12 campaign included wins against Georgia Tech, Houston, Rutgers, Mississippi, and LSU's top wins of the season over then #10 Marquette and then #23 Mississippi State.Among the key returning players for the Tigers are 5-10 sophomore Anthony Hickey, 5-9 junior Andre Stringer, 6-9 sophomore Johnny O'Bryant, 6-8 junior Jalen Courtney, 6-6 junior Ralston Turner and 6-9 senior Eddie Ludwig. LSU has some quality recruits joining the team this coming season, including 6-3 Malik Morgan, 6-6 Shane Hammink, 6-2 Corban Collins and 6-6 Shavon Coleman.
