Lee Ann Womack

Lee Ann Womack is a famous American singer born in Jacksonville in 1966. She started her music career in 1997, and released her first music album "Lee Ann Womack". This singer is known for her old-fashioned songs for her country. Her major album was released in 2002 with the title of "I hope you dance", which became the reason of her popularity in the music industry. This album was her first major hit, and was nominated in the top 15 song albums of the year. In her album, she did not use traditional music, but pop music elements to establish as a cross over pop artist. Her second album "There's more where that comes from" was released in 2005, which was nominated as one of the top traditional recoding music. She has released six albums up till now and two compilation albums.
