December 28, 2003 - Priest Holmes sets the record for touchdowns in a single season during the Chiefs' 31-3 rout of the Chicago Bears. He scores his 26th touchdown, breaking Emmitt Smith's record of rushing touchdowns in a season, and then scores his 27th to break Marshall Faulk's record of total touchdowns. Holmes ended the regular season scoring 12 touchdowns in his last five games.
