Indiana landed in fifth place in the Big Ten, with an 11-7 conference record. Highlights of the 2011-12 campaign included a nearly unprecedented series of wins over highly ranked teams. Then #1 Kentucky was the victim on December 10, then #2 Ohio State fell to the Hoosiers on December 31, and a 70-55 defeat of then #5 Michigan State followed on February 28.Among the key returning players for the Hoosiers are 6-11 sophomore Cody Zeller, 6-0 senior Jordan Hulls, 6-5 junior Victor Oladipo, 6-9 senior Christian Watford, 6-6 junior Will Sheehey, 6-4 sophomore Remy Abell, 6-9 senior Derek Elston and 6-5 senior Maurice Creek. Indiana has some quality recruits joining the team this coming season, including 6-8 Hanner Perea, 5-11 Kevin Ferrell, 6-8 Jeremy Hollowell, 6-3 Ron Patterson and 6-11 Peter Jurkin.
