Idaho finished third in the WAC, with a 9-5 conference record. Highlights of the 2011-12 campaign included wins against Montana State, Oregon State, Fresno State, Louisiana Tech, Utah State, Nevada, New Mexico State, and an 86-83 win over UC-Santa Barbara in the CIT Tournament.Among the key returning players for the Vandals are 6-2 senior Mike McChristian, 6-3 senior Mansa Habeeb, 6-8 senior Wendell Faines, 6-10 senior Kyle Barone, 6-1 junior Antwan Scott and 6-5 junior Stephen Madison. Idaho has a quality recruit joining the team this coming season in Ty Egbert, a 6-8 forward from Coulee Dam, Washington.
