Georgia finished the season in eleventh place in the SEC, with a 5-11 conference record. Highlights of the 2011-12 campaign included victories over Notre Dame, Tennessee, and their two biggest wins, against then #18 Mississippi State on February 11 and then #11 Florida on February 25. Among the key returning players for the Bulldogs are 6-4 sophomore Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, 6-9 junior Donte Williams, 6-0 senior Vincent Williams and 6-7 junior Marcus Thornton.Georgia has some quality recruits joining the team this coming season, including 6-9 Tony Parker, 6-4 Kenny Gaines, 6-8 Brandon Morris and 6-6 Charles Mann.
