Great Moments in Bulldogs Basketball History

The Fresno State Bulldogs basketball represent California State University, Fresno (commonly referred to as Fresno State University) in 19 NCAA Division I sports. The teams have been members of the Western Athletic Conference since 1992. Before that, it had been a member of the Big West Conference since 1969 (the conference was known as the Pacific Coast Athletic Association until 1988). Fresno State was also a member of the California Collegiate Athletic Association from its beginning in 1939 (when Fresno State was in Division II). On August 18, 2010, it was announced that Fresno State alongside fellow WAC member Nevada, would accept an offer to move to the Mountain West Conference. Fresno State will make the move in 2012. The university has won two NCAA DI Championships in both Softball (1998) and Baseball (2008).

Save Mart Center:

Save Mart Center at Fresno State is a multi-purpose arena, on the campus of the California State University, Fresno, located in Fresno, California. An open house was held for community on November 5, 2003, with the official ribbon cutting following on November 27, 2003.
It is home to the Fresno State Bulldogs basketball team and, for the first five seasons in the ECHL (2008-12), the Fresno Falcons ice hockey team; prior to the opening of the building, they played at Selland Arena.
