Florida Gators

The University of Florida are nicknamed the Gators and they are a collegiate sport team located in Gainesville central Florida. They are considered a powerhouse in the NCAA and compete in football, baseball, basketball and many other university sports. They are division I teams and are part of the southern conference. The Florida Gators play home and away games in Gainesville at the McKethan Stadium for baseball and Ben Hill Griffin for home football and O'Connell Stadium for basketball games. University of Florida are called the Gator Nation and will have some new players after many recruiting session have taken place and some key players on the defense were drafed by NFL teams. Located in the city of Gainesville, the University of Florida is home to the Florida Gators athletic teams. As members of the NCAA Division 1, The Florida Gators compete in the Southeastern Conference in 13 sports. The men have athletic teams in baseball, basketball, football, golf, tennis, swimming, & diving, cross-country and track & field. The women have athletic teams in basketball, golf, gymnastics, lacrosse, soccer, softball, tennis, volleyball, swimming, & diving, cross-country, and track & field. 
The athletic facilities where you will be witness to a sea of orange and blue include Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, Stephen C. O'Connell Center, and the Alfred A. McKethan Stadium. Albert and Alberta, the Florida Gator's mascots are often seen in attendance at the various sporting events to show off their Gator Pride!
