Colorado State finished fourth in the Mountain West, with an 8-6 conference record. Highlights of the 2011-12 campaign included wins against Montana, SMU, in-state rival Colorado, and impressive conquests of several ranked teams: then #12 San Diego State, then #21 New Mexico and then #17 UNLV on February 29.Among the key returning players for the Rams are 6-5 senior Pierce Hornung, 6-2 senior Dorian Green, 6-3 senior Wes Eikmeier, 6-2 senior Jesse Carr, 6-4 junior Dwight Smith, 6-6 senior Greg Smith and 6-10 senior Colton Iverson (transfer). Colorado State has some quality recruits joining the team this coming season, including 6-2 Jordan Mason and 6-8 Jermaine Morgan.
