However, when the story was being crafted, the writers paid careful attention not to offend the person too much but provide a real comedy to the fans. The musical, created by Howard Lindsay, Russel Crouse, and Irving Berlin, is about a woman who works as a diplomat for the USA. She is stationed in a fictional European country, and when she gets there, well, you will have to see the show if you want to know what happens! This is a great show for those who have even a basic understanding of politics, or the current state of affairs in the US today. There is a lot of reading between-the-lines, and as such, it is a great show for anyone who enjoys tongue-in-cheek humor, and most especially parodies.
