BC Football

The Boston College Eagles of the ACC finished the 2011 season with a 4-8 record, closing the year with a nice win at Miami (FL). Boston College took fifth place in the ACC's Atlantic Division, with a 3-5 conference record. Highlights of the 2011 campaign included a 28-17 victory at Maryland on October 29, a close conquest of North Carolina State on November 12, and the season-ending win over the Miami Hurricanes.
Among the key returning players for the Eagles are quarterback Chase Rettig, running back Montel Harris, wide receiver Colin Larmond, defensive tackle Kaleb Ramsey, defensive tackle Dominic Appiah, linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis, linebacker Steele Divitto and cornerback Al Louis-Jean.
Boston College has several quality recruits joining the team this coming season, including offensive guard Frank Taylor (Pennsylvania), offensive tackle Win Homer (Virginia), linebacker Steven Daniels (Ohio), linebacker Bobby Wolford (Florida) and tight end Michael Giacone (New Jersey).
The 2012 Boston College schedule features a number of great matchups, among them are a non-conference matchup with Northwestern, battles with Clemson and Florida State, and late-season duels against Notre Dame and Virginia Tech.
