Call today and order now. 2013 Boston CelticsThe Boston Celtics had an excellent season this year, finishing 4th in the Eastern Conference and advancing to playoffs. The Celtics are still trying to piece together another championship run. The Celtics win games because of stellar defense. The team ranked second in points allowed this season, holding opponents to an average of 89.3 points per game. The Celtics have many veteran players, including their leading scorer and rebounder, Kevin Garnett (PF). Garnett averaged 19.5 points per game and 10.7 rebounds per game. He also led the team in blocks, averaging 1.4 per game. Paul Pierce (SF) and Ray Allen (SG) can also score points and play defense. Pierce averaged 18.8 points per game, and Allen is deadly from the 3-point-line. The unsung hero for the Celtics this season was Rajon Rondo (PG). Rondo has developed into one of the best point guards in the league, and he led the team in both assists (11.9 per game) and steals (2.5 per game). Rondo has effectively learned how to lead a team of veteran superstars and distribute the ball. Look for him to keep improving every season. The Celtics may be aging, but they still have some young talent in 26-year-old Rondo. The team lost in a game seven playoff at Miami but the team looks to get back there this season. They hope that their defense can help bring another championship to Boston. |
