Located in New York, Stony Brook University is home to the athletic teams referred to as the Seawolves. The Stony Brook Seawolves participate in the NCAA Division 1 and compete in the American East Conference for intercollegiate sports. The women field varsity teams in basketball, cross-country, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming & diving, tennis, track & field, and volleyball. The men field varsity teams in baseball, basketball, cross-country, football, lacrosse, soccer, swimming & diving, tennis, and track & field.
The Seawolves athletic teams compete in a number of facilities locally; some of those facilities include Joe Nathan Field, Stony Brook University Arena, Pritchard Gymnasium, University Field, and Kenneth P. Lavalle Stadium.
Sporting the red, grey, and blue of Stony Brook isn’t limited to fans and players, Wolfie the Seawolf also shows of Seawolves pride in the University’s colors.
