Los Angeles Kings Won Their First Stanley Cup Last Season – Buy Tickets Here

The Los Angeles Kings finished in 8th place and snuck into the playoffs this season. However, the team beat the New Jersey Devils in the Stanley Cup final, and they took the Stanley cup home! This was the team’s first cup.
The Kings did not score a ton of goals this season. In fact, the only averaged 2.3 goals per game, which was 29th in the NHL. Anze Kopitar (C) led the team with 25 goals and 51 assists, and he has continued to play well in the playoffs, scoring a team high 8 goals. He also scored the game winning goal in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals. Justin Williams (RW) had 22 goals and 37 assists this season.
Defensively, the Kings were excellent this season. They only allowed an average of 2.1 goals per game, which was 2nd in the NHL. Jonathan Quick has been excellent in his 4th season in the NHL. Quick had a goals against average of 1.95 and a save percentage of .929. He hopes he can play well in the finals and lift the Stanley Cup.
The Kings played well this season, but they have played even better in the playoffs. They are looking to defeat New Jersey and win the first Stanley Cup in franchise history.
