North Carolina State Wolfpack Team of The Week:
Located in Durham, North Carolina State University is home to the Wolfpack athletic teams. The 24 Wolfpack varsity men and women’s athletic teams are members of the NCAA Division 1 and compete in the Atlantic Coast Conference, the East Atlantic Gymnastics League, and the Great American Rifle Conference. The Wolfpack has won numerous championships including eight national championships in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The men’s varsity sports teams are baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross-country, football, golf, soccer, swimming & diving, rifle, tennis, track & field, and wrestling. The women’s varsity sports teams are basketball, cheerleading, cross-country, golf, gymnastics, soccer, softball, swimming & diving, rifle, tennis, track & field, and volleyball.
The Wolfpack and Lady Wolfpack have two mascots they are Mr. & Mrs. Wuf and the living Tamaskan dog, Tuffy. When attending North Carolina State Wolfpack athletic events at Dail Softball Stadium, Doak Field at Dail Park, PNC Arena, Reynolds Coliseum, or Carter Finley Stadium, fans sport the school colors of red and white.
