Spotlight: Murray State Racers Tickets
The 16 varsity intercollegiate athletic teams at Murray State University are called the Murray State Racers. The Racers are members of the NCAA’s Division 1 and compete in the Ohio Valley Conference. The sports in which the men field teams are baseball, basketball, cross-country, football, golf, rifle, and tennis. The sports women field teams in are basketball, cross-country, golf, rifle, soccer, softball, tennis, track & field, and volleyball.
Although the school’s nickname is the Racers, the varsity baseball team for MSU is the Thoroughbreds or ‘Breds. The MSU colors are navy blue and gold and are seen in abundance when attending Racers sporting events. Venues at MSU include Reagan Field, CFSB Center, Racer Field, Cutchin Field, and Roy Stewart Stadium. The MSU mascot available for events on campus and off is Dunker or Air Dunker.
