Alamo Bowl

The Alamo Bowl is the college football game played annually since 1993 at the 65,000 seat Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The Alamo Bowl has been sponsored by many different organizations, the most recent being Valero Energy Drink, which is why it is now called the Valero Alamo Bowl. This bowl is quite prestigious and brings together some of the best college football teams in the country. Last season the Southwestern Conference was given this invitation and it brought two teams, the Baylor Bears and Texas A&M. From it's humble beginnings, the Alamo bowl has continued with its now official name - the Valero Alamo Bowl. The Iowa Hawkeyes, Colorado Buffaloes and Wisconsin have played in this bowl as well as the Nebraska and Michigan teams and many more to come. The Alamo Bowl is usually telecast via ESPN. This year, you don't have to watch on television, get tickets here and see the game live. It's going to be on December 29, 2012, a Saturday at 7:30PM in the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
