Alabama A&M Bulldogs

Alabama A&M Bulldogs - Alabama A&M University, located in Huntsville, Alabama, is home to the A&M Bulldogs. Alabama A&M University's intercollegiate program consists of a combined 15 NCAA-sanctioned sports teams between the men and women. The seven (7) sports teams for the men are football, basketball, baseball, golf, tennis, soccer, track and field.  The eight (8) women's teams at the University include softball, soccer, basketball, cross-country, tennis, bowling, volleyball, track and field. These teams compete in Division 1 of the NCAA and are members of the Eastern Division of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC). The Louis Crews Stadium is one of the most difficult places for visiting teams to leave, victorious. Surrounded by students and alumni in maroon and white, Bulldog and Lady Bulldog pride is apparent, either comfortably in their home venues or away.

In the case of the Alabama A&M Bulldogs, a college football team representing the Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University, both men and women have representations and they are all called "bulldogs". And just like the other intercollegiate teams like the Air Force Falcons and the Akron Aeros and many others, they play for the NCAA Division I level for the football championship. And as for its very recent games in the 2012 season, the Alabama A&M Bulldogs finished with an 8, -4 record and a 7-2 record in conference play. They pride themselves with their 2011 biggest victory of 23 points over the Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils. In the last season, the team was led by DeAunte Mason who made a record of 1,996 passing yards, 11 passing touchdowns, 7 interceptions, 512 rushing yards and 3 rushing touchdowns.
And for some of their 2012 schedule of games, September 1 (Saturday), they will play against Tuskegee Golden Tigers at the Ladd Peebles Stadium, Mobile, Alabama. On September 8, 2012, they will play against Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions at the Golden Lion Stadium, Pine Bluff, Arkansas. On September 15, 2012, they will play against Prairie View A&M at the Louis Crews Stadium at Huntsville, Alabama. All these mentioned matches, Alabama A&M had won in the 2011 season which is a big proof that bulldogs can't be taken lightly this season.
