A Midsummer Nights Dream

The works of the great William Shakespeare are on display in this theatre production. The story is a complicated one: the king of a Greek state finally decides to whom his daughter is to be wed. However, his daughter revolts and refuses! Quoting an old law stating that she must wed or die, she is given another choice, to become a chaste nun in the service of a Greek god. However, she will quickly learn that sometimes the things we most dislike can quickly become a dream come true. In a night out, in the woods with a few friends, some sprites decide to play a trick on the prince to be wed to the king's daughter. He is to have a spell put on him that will make him love the first person he sees. Unfortunately, the spell is put on the wrong person, and that guy ends up falling in love with the king's daughter! Quickly going down hill from here, it becomes anyone's game as to who will, in the end, have the princess's hand in marriage. Will the fairies continue to interfere, or will the two friends continue to fight forever?  For those of you who don't know, you are surely in for a treat. For those who have already read or seen the play, the sheer capability of the fine cast will keep you coming back for more.
